  Too cute as well. Shame you didn't get one of both of them, sibling shots usually turn out really well  Dan has a very strange grin.... he can't seem to tone it down, am going to have another go at it next time i'm over
 My little girl's grin/smile always looks too forced IMO (she is 4). I love it when I can catch her off guard or laughing, seems much more natural to me then.
Charlotte's brother, Dan, has this massive grin, which he can't stop whenever a camera is pointed at him, i think the aim it to show as many teeth as he has. When i go visiting next time i hope to have more time to try and get him to stop forcing the smile so much and get some more natural shots
when i have kids i can only hope they are as cute and fun as dan and charlotte I'm thankful for digital cameras though, we can take 100's of shots to get 4 or 5 decent ones
 yarp, i completely agree. charlotte is pretty wriggly, mainly cos she wanted to play with the shiny camera...
  So cute, this is brilliant. Perhaps try a black and white but erase over her eyes so they are the only things that have color. It may work out well

You've picked such a wonderful subject for this set of photos... she holds so much innocence.
Out of the photos of her though, this has to be my favourite. It makes you think if you were to remember back to when you were innocent what thoughts you would have... and the title "why" - what is she questioning? What could a child so young and pure be questioning to have such a look on her face.
The use of negative space is brilliant and only emphasises the question to which she's asking.
Personally I would have loved to see this more in black and white and think it would have worked well... but the only downside of this is that you would not see her lake like eyes.
As a friend and watcher of your gallery, you can truly see how much you've came along. It makes me look forward to what is to come.
